Chairman Alan Ainsworth
Meets 1st and 3rd Wednesdays
As this year's Chairman, I would like to welcome you to Kenilworth Round Table. Established in 1963, Kenilworth Round Table is one of the largest Tables in the country.
There are two sides to Kenilworth Round Table, fellowship and community service, but both have a common theme – having fun and enjoying ourselves!
We meet up on the first and third Wednesday of every month for a variety of social activities that are planned and organised in turn by club members. These activities can be more or less anything that someone is able to arrange, and some of the sixteen social events we did last year include Human Table Football, White Water Rafting, Sumo Wrestling, a Great Egg Race and a Petrolhead Night. We also hold at least three formal Business Meetings each year where we discuss and agree upon, among other things, donations to the local community.
Kenilworth Table has an active programme of community and fundraising events throughout the year. We are well known for our annual Bonfire Gala at Kenilworth Castle, one of the largest firework displays in the area, and at Christmas Kenilworth residents, both young and old, look forward to Santa visiting on his Carol Float. In addition, we usually enter the Wellesbourne & District Lions raft race (at a more leisurely pace), have a float in the Kenilworth Carnival, and in March we organize a Seniors Party for the older residents of the town!
Although Round Table is an organisation for guys aged 18 - 45, there are opportunities for all the family to get involved. Many of our partners are members of our sister organisation, Kenilworth Ladies Circle, and joint events include Ladies Night – usually a dinner dance – as well as Challenge Nights and Safari Suppers. For the family we hold BBQs and fun days, and our children are usually involved in the Carnival Float, help Santa on his rounds at Christmas, and earlier this year several took part in the pantomime we put on at the Seniors Party.
Please visit our website, www.kenilworthroundtable.com, and if you think Kenilworth Round Table is the club for you, please contact us and arrange to come along to one of our events. We look forward to meeting you.

Well, we meet up twice a month either over a meal at the Angel Hotel or at a social activity. Social activities have been varied and have included driving JCB diggers, curry nights, brewery and vineyard visits (including the obligatory tasting!), we also visit and receive our 'twin' table from Halle in Belgium, go-karting, treasure hunts etc. etc. We also get involved in the local community as much as possible by organising an "It's a knockout tournament" hosting fun and games for local schools at Market Harborough's annual carnival. The "Santa run", at Christmas time we give assistance to Santa as he takes his sleigh around the Desborough and Market Harborough area delighting the children whilst raising money for local charities, We also undertake "Fix It's", helping local people with gardening or basic repair work. These are just some of the things that we have done in the last year, what we do next year could be up to you!

Compact and technical - that sums up Southam Round Table.
We like a challenge, particularly if it involves mountain bikes. We have recently completed Area 9's Hike & Bike in the Lakes and Wallingford Table's Hill Fort & Waterways Challenge along the Ridgeway.
In the words of Chairman Christian Ibbs, "You can never be too specialized, so lets just tick the box, move on and make it so."
